The magical, grape fruit juice diet has amazing results in just two and a half months, you can lose over fifty pounds, but it's not always easy to get started on it.

The breakfast menu of the grapefruit juice diet consists of 8 oz of unsweetened grapefruit juice, two eggs and two slices of bacon. 8 oz of water intake is also a necessity. One doesn't need to starve oneself although one is on a diet. In fact you need to have a filling meal. It is better to cut down on coffee intake since it affects the insulin balance and hinder the burning process and have only 1 cup at meal time.

Your dinner will consist of eight ounces of unsweetened grapefruit juice, salad with dressing of your choice, meat, fish, and a cup of coffee or tea. The grapefruit juice diet works best if you don't eat in between meals, so make sure you get full when you eat your meals.

Bedtime snack for your grapefruit juice diet comprises of 8 oz of tomato juice or a cup of skimmed milk. The rationale behind the grapefruit juice diet is that the more you consume, the more you lose in terms of weight so don't worry about stuffing yourself during meal time. Please note that after the 12 days diet period, you have to stop for two days before resuming the grapefruit juice
