As vehicles go motorcycles are known to be the least safe of them all. You ask is any vehicle guaranteed? No is the correct answer. The car drivers often do not pay attention to the fact that motorcyclists are on the road. This creates a bit of danger so both drivers that of care and on motorcycles should be aware of each one of them. One other thing that will bring some attention to the bike rider is having their lights on. They should also have a full-face helmet on too to be safe.
Any rider should want to be safe when enjoying their cycle. By donning your full-face helmet along with your boots, gloves, jacket and pants made of leather you will be safeguarding yourself against at least some injury. The full-face helmet is probably the most important safety feature listed here. There is nothing worse than to suffer a serious head injury and any way you can protect your head and brain from injury it is worth it. The name for the pants and jacket part of the outfit is usually called by the term "leathers".
Physical attractiveness is another trait that cars and cycles have in common but in different areas. The one problem with cars is that some cars a big and cloddy looking. The sport models can be shiny and visually exciting to look at. But all models are not created equal and neither are colors and styles. You will want to look a bit to see what appeals most to you. Cycles have a similar appeal but the one thing that is way different is the addition that you can view the riders whole body opposed to the car hiding the body.
Yes the motorcycles do show all a riders head and body when they ride they are fully exposed to the elements. Many people will be able to admire rider while they ride all decked out in their fancy duds. Guess who gets the most attention while riding though? Of course women do!
The way cars use gas should be a crime sometimes. Certain models just plain use too much gas. Better mileage is happening more these days but still not what it should be. And with gas prices at all times high prices this has become a major problems for some people.
The story on gas usage is completely different for cycles. They are so economical with gas consumption that it is worth looking into getting one. They do have smaller gas tanks than most cars so sometimes the motorcyclist may feel like they are using more gas than what they really do. Even when you add the gear you have to wear it still is not heavy enough to make the cycle work harder as far as burning too much gas.
The biggest thing that cars and cycles don't have in common is price. The cost of cars is much higher than cycles. Even you buy a clunker in a car for a few hundred dollars chances are you are going to have to put thousands into it to get it fixed. Even the price of a new air conditioning unit for the car could be what a motorcycle would cost. With even cars that are brand spanking new you may have to do work on them. There are those emissions tests, brakes that need to be replaced, and front end alignments that cost a pretty penny. Heck did you know that a car loses almost one third of its value just coming off the lot. You can afford all your gear along with your helmet plus for the cycle for less than the money used for fixing the car.
A cycle is just plain cheaper than a car even with the expense of all the gear and add ons. For about $300 you can get a cycle that has been ridden before. Put that cost together with the fantastically good gas mileage and your wallet will be so grateful.
