One of the easiest and most effective ways to make gold in World of Warcraft is to use the Auction House.

You must be thinking of how you can kill mobs quickly and continuously, because the more you kill, the more you can loot. As a result, any area where mobs respawn quickly and drops are decent is a good area for WoW gold farming. Also, consider who else is around you trying to farm there. If other players are in the area killing mobs, it reduces the number available for you to kill and that can slow you down. If this is the case for a particular play session, consider moving to a different area.

There are other ways of making gold in World of Warcraft using the Auction House, though, that are easy and don't take a lot of time.

My favorite way is to buy something off the auction house for a low price, and immediately relist and sell it for a higher price. This is, in my opinion, one of the best ways to make gold in World of Warcraft. I think it is great because, firstly, you don't need a lot of time because it takes a lot less time to look for deals on the Auction House than it does to go out and grind for gold.

Also, you don't necessarily need any real money to do this. Sometimes you can just find something listed on the Auction House that is only a few silver that might sell for one gold. If you do this enough times, things can really take off, and you really only spent your initial silver pieces.

As a result, you can make gold in World of Warcraft using the "buy low sell high" method in the Auction House starting at a very low level.

If you are going to use this method, look for an add-on called Auctioneer. Auctioneer will scan the auction house for low priced items, so you don't even have to spend time hunting through the category tree. Auctioneer keeps track of the average selling price of items, so you will know if something is way underpriced and can be bought low and sold high. You can even park a low level alt by the auction house with a couple of gold to run your scans and buy cheap items, so your main character doesn't have to come back from grinding or questing.

To conclude, buying low and selling high at the Auction House should be part of your strategy if you hope to make gold in World of Warcraft. To make it easier to do, go out and get the Auctioneer add-on.
