I have played World of Warcraft for more than 3 years. Throughout the years, I came up with some great gold farming techniques that I use to farm WoW gold.

1. Each profession in World of Warcraft is unique and gold can be made through every one of them. However, if you want a CONSTANT flow of gold coming in, 'gathering' professions are always better 'crafting' professions.

2. Auction every single item that is not gray. Mass mail everything to an Alt to save time.

3. All the green items that you find should be saved and mailed to an alternative character, when you have collected bags full of them, you should tip (generously) an Enchanter to disenchant them. Shard and Dusts are selling at an incredible rate and I can only foresee even better outcomes when the Wrath of the Lich King comes out.

4. Using addons, the Blizzard interface is fine, but addons that adds additional information such as Gatherer and Auctioneer helps tons.

5. Become a personal supplier of Ores, Herbs, Skinning Mats to "crafters" in top guilds. You could sell your goods at a lower price, but there won't be an Auction House cut and this will guarantee sales.

6. A tip when mining, Silver refill Tin nodes. Gold refills Iron nodes. Truesilver refills Mithril nodes. So if you are just looking for Truesilver, you must NOT ignore the Mithril nodes as this will reduce the overall chance of Truesilver node spawns.

7. Like Jewelcrafting, I foresee Inscription to be big in the Wrath of the Lich King. Get this profession if you already have characters with maxed gathering professions.

8. Selling seasonal items. Take a look at the Blizzard's calendar and look for upcoming in-game events. You would be surprised to see the demand for certain items jumps up to 10x at certain times of the year.

9. Understanding World of Warcraft Economy. Not as complicated as the real world economy, but it follows the same basic principle: supply and demand. You need to look for items that are low in supply and high in demand.

Let's look at this example, a server with 85% population being level 70s, the prices of some lower level items might be insanely high, this is because not only are these items in demand by lower level players, but also high level player's alts. Depending on the item, they could also be in demand as mats for leveling professions.

10. Enjoy the game, there are so many methods to make decent amount of gold in WoW, you just have to pick one and be as efficient as possible with that one method. After all this is a game, you are here to have fun!
