You should start working with your kids early on in their lives. There are many products on the market that are gears especially for children and their personal hygiene. There items make caring for a child's personal hygiene fun and exciting for kids. Try buying items that are not only interesting but intriguing to your children.
Foam soap has always been a big hit. Kids love the fact that they push the pump and out comes this colors foam that they can then wash their hands with. There are also several other products such as fun bath mittens and fun shaped shampoo containers.. These are all items that will make bath time and personal hygiene fun for your little ones.
Personal hygiene should start at home first. Every morning when you get up make sure to shower. During this shower you should wash your entire body with an antibacterial soap. This will kill any bacteria or germs that have begun to grow on your body.
Although it might seem like second nature to you as an adult to wash all the creases and crevices of your body for a child he may not know this is important. Any child loves to spend time with their parents no matter what they are doing. If it's bed time or after meal time go into the bathroom with your child and brush your teeth too. This will give them the right idea of how it should be done, when it should be done and how long you need to brush your teeth. You will also find that it will be a nice bonding time for you and your children.
The most susceptible people to germs, bacteria and infections are children. They have less of an immune system and there for need to learn the proper way to care for their personal hygiene. By teaching them the correct way and encouraging them to do the things that are needed in order to care for their personal hygiene you are helping to keep them from getting sick.
