The soaring gas prices or gas crisis as some are calling it, have caused me to research alternative fuel options. Let's face the fact that the prices are not going to decrease anytime soon. Car dealerships are actually using cheap gas as an incentive to purchase a new car. That's a little troubling. When I moved to GA in 2000, I remember being excited about the gas being .15 cents cheaper than in northeast where I migrated from. Bike riding to work is great if your in shape and are close enough to your workplac. Public transportation is wonderful if your schedule allows for a couple extra hours of commute. High gas prices are driving everyone to think about the amount of waste we produce.
