Joe Vitale has always wanted to be a writer. The drive hit him hardest in his teenage years when he was captivated by the series "The Twilight Zone". There aren't too many people in this world who can follow their passions and immediately quit their "day job". Most people struggle for quite some time and lose a lot of money and sleep in the process. Joe is no different. He was poverty-stricken at times, and he had to get meaningless jobs at times to provide for his wife and himself. The dream of writing was never far from his mind, though.

The key to overcoming is to figure out what's holding you back. Joe had an inward struggle. No one in his family was into books. No one wrote books. No one had a passion for reading. He was the outsider. It took a move of 2,000 miles for Joe to get far enough from the struggle to overcome his issues with poverty.

Although not in poverty anymore, Joe still struggled with the income glass ceiling. Why couldn't he have unlimited income? Each of us has an unconscious reason to figure out for ourselves. Joe's was the guilt of making more money than his father made. When he overcame that battle, he was finally able to achieve the wealth he wanted.
