Creating graphics for your website or for any printed work seems like a daunting task but its not as difficult as it first looks and with a little practice you can create stunning graphics with just a few clicks of your mouse.

I use Adobe Photoshop for all my editing needs and a lot of computers these days come with it already installed and you can learn the basics within just a few minutes.

If you have never created your own grapic before then its mostly just a case of pointing and clicking your mouse and you only need to get used to the following three basic things to create good looking graphics.

1: text formatting

2: Deciding on the best font

3: Layer Styles

Dont panic at this point if you haven't done any of that before as its all self explanitory. Below is an example of how easy it is to create a great looking header for any website.

1: Locate adobe editor on your computer

2: Click on new page

3: write "what a cool header"

4: Highlight text and go to fonts and choose one that you like. Your original text should now have changed to the chosen font.

5: next locate "layers" in the photoshop menu bar and again choose one that you like.

6: Highlight text {last time now} and then simply resize to what you want.

And there you have it....a cool header for your website. There are obviously plenty of other things that can be done to further enhance your graphics such as adding multiple layers to your text to create a totally different look.

Given a bit of time and practice you will be able to create hundreds of different combinations and make your work something to be proud of.
