There are three elements when it comes to hypnosis: relaxation and distractions, suggestions, and the return or response. So why do you have to learn and conduct self-hypnosis? Here are some simply steps you can consider for your self-hypnosis sessions.
The first thing to consider is to focus and relax, letting your imaginations go. Everything actually starts by finding a private space for yourselves. Sit down, relax, and close that door. Whether you are sitting or lying down, just make sure you keep your back straight. Once you are on a relaxed state, the second step comes into the picture. Choose your daydream scenario that you think could help you relax completely. Picture yourself in your favourite place, be it on the beach or in the mountains; with you family or with your friends. Take time to go over those good scenarios that you think could make you relax and be at peace. Then follows your affirmations, the state where you start to write a simple script out of your thoughts. Try to come up with self-suggestions. Once you have identified the script, write the script and then read it over and over. When you do this, you are simply trying to affirm yourself that you can actually achieve peace and relaxation out of your scenarios.
After the relaxation, the daydreaming, and the writing of scripts, it is now time to return to your normal state. Count yourself back to consciousness. However, always think that in order to become successful with your self hypnosis sessions, you should find enough time to do the procedure often. This is not an overnight progress. You need to repeat the whole process as often as possible until the day comes when you finally realize you indeed have finally let go of all those negative emotions in you.
Experts say that your being successful with your self-hypnosis sessions all depends on how often you practice it. Another tip is to focus on a specific thing one at a time. Say, you are trying to eliminate shyness, you can do the procedure for at least two weeks. It doesn?t take much of your time. Maybe you can start doing it for an hour. But once you actually get the hang of it, five or ten minutes a day is all it takes.
In any self hypnosis session, try to remember one thing: that you are doing it to let you eliminate all your negative habits, in the hopes of making your life better. As much as possible, enjoy every self hypnosis sessions. Not only is this a good way to relieve stress, but also, this can be a great way for you to have a better life ahead.
