The Poodle breed is really fantastic and make perfect family pets. They are affectionate, energetic and loving, but they can also be quite stubborn and domineering. Fill the litter box with paper litter or just shredded paper because regular kitty litter can make a Poodle sick and should not be used. Take the puppy to the litter box every few hours or is the puppy gives signals of having to go potty.

It is then just a matter of time before your dog is using the litter box on its own. With a lot of praise Poodle litter box training can go rather quickly. Verbal praise and a pat on the head each time your dog successfully uses the litter box will reinforce continued use. Never yell or strike your Poodle, this is abuse and is never an effective training technique.
