While there are many other hot tourist attractions all over the world such as Hawaii and Cancun, tourism in Brazil offers one distinguishing characteristic that easily defines it from the rest of its competitors: the Federative Republic of Brazil (most especially the northern regions) is a tourist destination hot spot all year long. During the winter seasons when the climate is virtually unbearable in all the other usual vacation spots, the beaches and tourist attractions in Brazil remain to be as alive as ever as if spring break season has just begun.

One particular point of interest for a lot of tourists visiting Brazil is the famed beach garden located in the town of Santos. However, be especially prepared as the Santos Beach Garden is a 7 kilometer-long walk from its main entrance in Ponta de Praia to the town of Sao Vicente where the path ends.

Because of the entrance that requires you a very long walk, Santos is now considered the largest beach garden in the world. Try exploring other beach gardens in the world and you surely won't find any other beach garden as large as seven kilometers.

You can start taking pictures in the Aquarium which welcomes you just as you are past a few steps from the main entrance. Make sure that you don't use your camera's flash because the management does not allow flashes. Here you can see 200 different forms of sea life. If you haven't seen sharks and exotic fishes yet, then the Santos Beach Garden is the place to be because its Aquarium offers you exactly what you want to see.

In addition to the fishes, a special refrigerated aquarium houses a number of penguins that have been found strutting along the beaches of Brazil. There are also sea lions on display in the Aquarium, a favorite animal among the children.

You can see Brazil at its finest when you visit the Santos Beach Garden. As a tourist, you need to remember that cleanliness and sanitation is strictly observed. What good is this beach garden if its environment is not respected, anyway? The Santos Beach Garden is a hot spot all year round because of the previous tourists who visited and observed the rules implemented by its management.
