Blackpool is a town in Lancashire, England and is considered as a chief seaside resort in the United Kingdom. It is situated on the coast of the Irish Sea making it a great place to spend a vacation. At present Blackpool enjoys around seventeen million tourists annually and with the passage of time the tourism is becoming more popular.

People who are visiting Blackpool for the first time might get a little lost as to where to start their vacation in this seaside resort. A trip to the Tourist Information Centre in the town would be a good place to start. These are located on Clifton Street, The Promenade and Ocean Boulevard.
