The sooner I realized the fact that Mr. Perfect probably did not exist, the sooner I got on with meeting my husband, Mr. Close-Enough-To-Perfect. Prince Charming, riding on a white stallion, lost his way or found Princess Charming and got married on his way to my castle. Could this be true for you too?
If you have been dating for a while you have probably tried the bars, blind dating, classes, and introductions. I thought I didn't have any no more options until my girlfriend told me about on-line dating. I knew lots of great guys but they were either married already, engaged or gay. If you really want to find your significant other, I suggest you become much more proactive and aggressive in your pursuit of him.
The web is full of great on-line dating sites. Have you ever thought about trying this?
When I began dating on-line years ago it was almost taboo. I didn't tell many people I was doing it. Now, it is widely accepted and has become very fashionable. People are finding that they can target their prospective mates by likes, dislikes, hobbies, philosophies and more through on-line dating. Some on-line dating sights will allow you to enter in parameters and will find you dates that fit those parameters.
I met Frank, my husband through on-line dating. We both knew what we were looking for. We were both tired of the dating scene and ready to settle down. Within one year we were married. We bought a house together that same year, and adopted twin boys four years later. We are still married to this day.
You might be surprised to find out how many of the people you know are dating on-line. Ask some of them. Ask those who are, what kind of experiences they are having. On-line dating is one of the best ways to target and date quality people who you have something in common with.
Everyone is unique. We are all individual. We are have personal quirks and habits that might annoy one person, and soothe another. Don't let your past reality dictate your future. I was no spring chicken when I finally wed, but it finally did happen. I am much happier now with a family than I was single. Marriage is not for everyone. The beauty of on-line dating is that if you are not looking for marriage, you can find others who have this same attitude. All you have to do is enter what you are looking for into your profile.
Do you do diligence. Find an on-line dating service that fits your needs. Post the most flattering picture you have of yourself. Enjoy the journey, who knows Mr. Right could be somewhere on the world wide web.
