When your girlfriend up and breaks up with you, usually it's not for nothing. Women may sometimes SEEM a little random and unpredictable, but for the most part they do things for a reason. Chances are, that reason in this case is you...and I'm going to help you find out why and possibly how to fix it and get your life back on track.

Now, the list of problems women have with their men is a mile and a half long, but there are three specific things that usually pop up more often than not as the culprits for a failed relationship. If your girl wasn't one of those kind souls who lists your faults in lengthy detail, I'm going to list them off so you can see if maybe one of them rings a bell.

1) Chances are good you already know this and what a STUPID idea it is, but generally women don't take kindly to people cheating on them. It's just common sense, but I swear some of us were born without even that much common sense, because guys and girls continue to cheat on each other and destroy their relationships.

I suppose I can understand that mistakes do happen, even ones that really SHOULDN'T ever happen...but rest assured that I have little to no sympathy for a person who's screwed up like this. Unfortunately for you if this is your problem, it can be exceedingly difficult to pull things back together in a relationship that's been broken this way. Unfaithfulness is a seriously wounding offense, and it leaves people very hurt and fragile. Take care if you try to make this work.

2) The second big mistake guys make with their girls is not giving them the emotional support they need. Women are wired a little differently than we are, and it's very important that they feel cared for. If a guy isn't meeting their emotional needs, girls will seek companionship from someone who can.

It really isn't that hard to make a woman feel loved. Just pay attention to her, real attention. Listen to what she has to say, and why she's saying it. Women are pretty complex creatures, and it can be a little difficult to figure out exactly what she's trying to get across, but if you spend enough time with her and pay enough attention to her, you'll understand her and she'll be happy.

3) Another of the big problems that really holds true for guys and girls is letting the relationship get too boring. When everything gets really predictable and there isn't too much entertainment in the relationship, your partner can get bored and the spark can kind of "go out." This isn't to say that your girlfriend doesn't still love you, but when there's little reason other than that to really hang around, why would she?

This is really the most tragic way for a relationship to die out. I mean, letting things get so stale with the one you love that love doesn't cut it anymore is just inexcusable. You can find things to do with her that are fun and spontaneous, I have faith in you. When the fun goes out of being with the one you love, it's just not right. Have FUN with her! Enjoy your love together, it's just wrong to let it get stale.

So there you have it, the three main things that generally cause couples to separate. This isn't at all everything that's ever gone wrong in a relationship, but it's a pretty good set of guidelines for probably about 80% of the problems relationship suffer through.
