When it comes to matters of the heart, love is all you need. So if you have recently split from an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend, and the love is still there, then you need to do everything in your power to get them back. You should start by compiling a list of the pros and cons to having that special someone back in your life. This list will be a great motivation to use when it seems like you cannot get through the day. The pros and cons will also help you determine if your parted sweetie is truly the person that you should be with.

When your plan starts to do its work and he comes around, you don't want him to see this list, so don't put it out there on the front of the refrigerator. Just tuck it away somewhere safe where you can look it over every now and then. Your purse is a good place so it's handy during the day, or under your pillow for a quick check at night. This list is going to help you see what you'll need in your plan to get this guy back. Don't forget, visualizing is very important in getting your plan to work for you.

Look down at your clothes and evaluate your overall appearance. If your ex was to stop by your house right now, would you feel embarrassed by the way that you look? More than likely you are in a comfy pair of sweats and an old T-shirt that you have probably not changed for 2 days or more. Get out of those clothes and put something on that makes you feel more presentable. Next, brush your hair and your teeth and get down to the mall. You need to buy yourself something that makes you feel better. This does not mean that you need to buy an expensive watch, but maybe a nice pair of shoes or shirt that makes you feel more confident.

You do not have to break the bank, just get your self one or two up to date knock out fashionable outfits that you can wear when you are planning on running into him again. Yes, you are planning on running into him again by "accident" and you just have to look smashing when you do. Also, call your favorite hair salon and get in for a new "do". Don't get all crazy and go too different, you want him to recognize you, but you want to seem different somehow. So change the style or highlight or even change the color a tad. Give your self a little mystery so he wonders what you have been up to, and why you look so fabulous.

After you have your new clothes and your new haircut, call up all of your friends. Have them alerted to keep a look out for your recent sweetheart. The concept is that you need to know what he or she is doing these days and where they are spending all of their time. Let them know that anytime they see your ex out in public, they need to call you and let you know who he was with, what he was doing, etc.

If your ex has a special hobby that they like to do, maybe it is time for you to learn this new hobby as well. More than likely, it was something that you hated to discuss because you had no urge to learn the hobby as well. If you make an effort to learn about this hobby as well, then they will take note of your effort. He or she might even get jealous if you start to do better than they are.

After you start to see your ex more frequently, whether it be because you just happen to run into them or you are trying to participate in the same activities, you can spark conversations. Try to discuss how much the two of you have in common, but do not go overboard. One of the main reasons that you and your ex broke up might have been because you did not have enough in common. Usually, after a break up, this is when we find out how much we actually have in common. Remind this person of what they are missing and keep them wanting more. Keep repeating these meetings and you will see that they will come crawling back for more.
