The purpose of wedding etiquette books has always to ensure that before and on the wedding day, everyone who is involved knows exactly what they are supposed to be doing. Wedding etiquette is important because this is a special occasion that brings many different people together to witness a ceremony about love, devotion and commitment.

Weddings can be difficult for all the guests who attend as you have many different groups; the bride's family, the groom's family, brides' friends, the groom's friends and then there are those friends that the couple has met since they have been together.
