Buying a beautiful wedding gown can be a challenge for many brides. So many girls dream of their wedding from the time they are a little girl that it is hard to transform the dress from their dreams to a dress in a store. But with a little bit of research, finding a beautiful wedding gown is a piece of cake.

A Starter - Which Style Of Wdding Gown Do You Want?

In order to find your beautiful wedding dress you first need to choose a style, this is not very difficult as there are essentially 5 to pick from. What you do need to consider when you do this is consider your body type and shape and also your personality.

I think that arguably the most frequently chosen dress style is the princess dress (also known as the A-line dress). The notable features of this dress are the tight bodice and the flare from the waist (like the letter A). The ball gown is another popular choice of dress.

A ball gown dress looks like something out of a fairy tale - a tight fitted bodice with a full skirt. The third style of wedding dress is an empire dress, which features an empire waistline.

An empire waistline starts right under the bust line, and flows down the rest of the dress. This is a classic and beautiful wedding gown style. A more modern style is the sheath or column dress. This dress has a straight line all the way down, and is extremely flattering on smaller brides.

Last but not least there is the mermaid dress which, as you might have guessed, has a skirt that flares right out at the knees similar to the mermaid.

Lets Not Forget Necklines And The Sleeves.

When choosing a neckline and sleeve combination there is no hard or fast rule in that all the differing dress styles will support them it is just a case of which combination looks best on you. Halter neck or V neck, scoop or bateau - they can all look great.

The key is to try on each combination and see what looks the best on you and what you are happy with.

The strapless designed dress is very popular in the summer months right now however sleeveless designs and spaghetti straps are just as stunning. There are many combinations to try out not forgetting 3/4 length and full length sleeves.
