As a Christian you want to be where God wants you to be. You have a desire to serve Him through your chosen profession. The question is are you looking for a vocation or just a profession? Do you feel you are being called by God to this profession? Then it is a vocation.

Christian employers are looking for a few good men and women. People with a strong Christian foundation. People who can be examples of God's love through their desire to serve others.

Have you experienced a set back in your current occupation and are apprehensive about seeking further employment in the same field? Another strong quality in a person is the ability to start again and leave behind the fear of failure. After all, your future is in God's hands.

Not all Christian education jobs will put you in front of a classroom. You may be called to be an administrator. You may be called to be an administrative assistant, or a Christian counselor. Each area is just as important as another. If you excell in a particular area, give God the glory.

Fulfilling one's vocation is a form of worship and honor to God. You are obeying His call. Whatever vocation you go into offer it up to God. Be the best that you can be and you will be a blessing to other people at the same time.

Whether you pursue a career in one of the Christian education jobs or some other field you can demonstrate God's love by doing your job as if He was your employer. When people see your example of honesty, stability, kindness and service they will see Him in you. It is the best deomstration of the gospel of love and obedience.
