Nostradamus is one of the well-known and revered psychics of all time. Even though he lived centuries ago, his unbelievable accurate and cryptic predictions left a huge impression until the present time. Psychic predictions, or simply predictions conjure a thousand images. In the end, it is all about those predictions being fulfilled or not.

The term "prediction" can bring a slew of thousands of images to a person. It could be a lot of rolls of paper, astrologers looking up to the sky, or an old woman looking through a creepy crystal ball. These are just some of the many images one can come up with. While astrologers and other iconic people who give out predictions through mathematical equations, natural occurrences, among others, psychic predictions are not rigid or even systematic. They are rather free-flowing and more natural.

While astrologers would base their predictions from mathematical equations combined with the movements of the stars, psychic predictions are not quite as systematic or rigid. Psychics can have their own tools when it comes to giving out their psychic predictions, but these tools are basically tarot cards, crystal balls, pendulums and scrying mirrors. There are no calculations that are being done when a psychic makes predictions. All psychic predictions are basically products of their innate psychic abilities channeled by these psychic tools. Intuition is a key psychic ability necessary when it comes to making psychic predictions.

Every single person in the world may have inborn psychic abilities, but not everyone maximizes the use of these hidden and mysterious abilities. Psychics have their psychic abilities honed and their divination powers sharpened, enabling them to make predictions about future events. Psychics and fortune tellers don't tell fortunes based on what tarot cards say, the power is innate and these psychic tools are only ways for them to enter in the trance-like state which enables them to connect with the supernatural.

It is believed that every person have psychic abilities. The thing is, either the person is not aware, or does not know how to utilize those mysterious abilities. Psychics are not only restricted in making predictions of future events. There are still a lot more things a psychic are capable of. It is just that psychic prediction are more popular or common. Psychic abilities allow a user to sense and perceive things that the ordinary senses are not capable of. ESP or Extra-Sensory Perception is a state that psychics experience when they use their abilities.
