My Crazy Experience when I found out About The Simple Golf Swing
Hi, I'm Jim Kellers, every Saturday my buddy Mark and I go out and play a game of 9 hole golf and he wins almost every time (9 times out of 10). I was getting sick of losing and decided to find a way to improve my golf swing so I didn't slice the ball all the time. I went to google, typed in a search on "how to fix your golf swing" and found a bunch of ads about the "Simple Golf Swing" and clicked on one. I wasn't impressed, the sales page looked like a bunch of hype like most sales pages do. But I got suckered into pulling out my credit card and buying into it anyways.
I was expecting this golf guide to help me fix my slice for good. I bought and downloaded it. I started to read this book and to my disappointment, I found out this book was a lousy 31 pages long, how is such a short book going to help me get rid of my nasty slice I thought to myself..
Well, I was very skeptical and almost tossed it aside along with the other junk manuals I have bought in the past but I figured I'd give the techniques a try anyway, seeing as I did pay for this information and it was a Thursday, so I only had 2 days before the next golf game with my buddy and I didn't want to lose to him for the 4th week in a row.
After a hard look at my current state, I had no choice but to end the humility, so I grabbed my driver, printed out a few pages of the simple golf swing and went to my backyard and started swinging away. The more I practiced using these techniques, the more confident I started to feel.
Now, don't get me wrong, it wasn't perfect, but it felt different, as if there was some magical force pushing my club forward and keeping the head straight as an arrow. I never felt so confident in my golf swing before, very odd, these short practice swings actually helped me out. Needless to say, I practiced for a couple hours on Thursday and again on Friday and when we went out to the golf course, I hit par 4 times out of nine, I have never hit par that many times before, I was completely BLOWN AWAY at what this short golf book had taught me.
When I started driving the ball down the fairway, Marks jaw almost dropped to the ground, he had never - in the last 2 years - seen me hit the ball so head on and so accurate. He didn't know whether to congratulate me or slap me for stepping up my game. I didn't peep a word about the simple golf swing book, because if he knew, he would buy it to use against me, he's a really competitive jerk like that... I kept thinking to myself, next game Mark, next game... I lost, but it felt so good that I was only 8 strokes behind him.
I'm sure not everyone would feel the same way, especially if you golf a lot more than once a week, or if you are already hitting the ball straight down the fairway like a pro, these techniques might be a complete waste of money for you... But if you are like me, then you are probably in need of some help getting rid of that slice and hitting the ball harder at the same time.
When I first got this book, I wouldn't have recommended it, but since it has really helped me out in a big way by showing me the proper way to grip the club, the importance of the backswing, how to drive the ball harder and most importantly, how to get rid of your nasty slice, I give it kudos, thanks to this little book, I am a much better golfer than I was on that Thursday I decided to invest the small amount of money into it.
